Brandy butter

Meat-free. Gluten-free. Egg-free. Nut-free. 

100g (4 oz) castor sugar

50ml (2 fl oz) brandy

100g (4 oz) butter, softened


Put sugar in bowl, add brandy and stir until sugar is completely dissolved.

Put the butter into the bowl with the brandy and sugar, and mix thoroughly.

Transfer to a serving dish. Chill. Serve with hot pudding.
