Cranachan

Meat-free. Gluten-free1. Egg-free. Nut-free. 


60g (2 oz) medium oatmeal
275ml (½ pint) double cream
3 tblsp runny honey
3 tblsp Scotch whisky
350g (12 oz) fresh raspberries


Toast oatmeal lightly in a dry pan, stirring occasionally, until golden brown. Allow to cool.

Whip cream until very stiff and then mix in honey, whisky and oatmeal.

Arrange layers of raspberries and cream mixture in 4 sundae glasses. Serve at room temperature.
