All Saints Sunday

by Frann Leach

All Saints' Sunday is celebrated on the first Sunday after Pentecost in many Orthodox churches, especially the Eastern Orthodox Church, and the Eastern Catholic Church.

The event is celebrated with very similar rites and rituals as in the Western church celebration of All Saints on 1st November each year.
