All Saints' Eve
by Frann LeachAll Saints' Eve in Sweden is celebrated as a half-day holiday by almost everybody, although it is not an official public holiday. It is celebrated on the Friday between October 30th and November 5th each year.
All Saints' Day falls on 1st November in most churches. The day before (All Hallows' Eve or Hallowe'en) is celebrated mainly as a secular event.
